As a Sales Account Representative at Hutcheon & Pearce, you’ll be the trusted advisor for customers in your designated sales area, helping them find the right machinery to drive their success. Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the company in machinery sales, building lasting relationships with customers.
  • Stay informed on product features, benefits, and competitive offerings.
  • Engage in ongoing sales training to sharpen your skills and industry knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate customer records using sales tools like EQUIP, Handle, and Sales Centre.
  • Follow a structured sales process to ensure smooth and successful transactions.
  • Conduct hands-on equipment demonstrations in the field.
  • Assist customers with financing options to secure new and used equipment.
  • Support customers beyond the sale, working with Service Specialists to optimise equipment performance.

The Ideal Candidate should have:

  • 1+ years equipment sales experience.
  • Knowledge of agricultural or turf equipment and farming or operational practices preferred.
  • Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and Internet functions.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret basic sales reports.
  • Attention to detail.
